I recently picked up another beauty product that I had listed in my spring releases wishlist, the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Androgyny palette. After hearing a lot of mixed reviews on his first eyeshadow palette, Beauty Killer, I didn't think I'd ever be so fixed on getting my hands on one of this brand's palettes. But when I saw the reveal of the shades and swatches, I knew it was something I'd have to add to my collection.
I'm officially beginning to get my hands on the items I had listed on my new spring releases wishlist and it's starting off with this new glow kit collaboration with Anastasia Beverly Hills and Nicole Guerriero.

If you've been subscribed to my youtube channel for a while (shameless plug: here's my youtube!) you'd know that I went through this short phase of making review videos on different foundations in search of that perfect one for me. Finding the perfect foundation is one hell of a journey. Needless to say, at this point I do have a couple of holy grails but I've become somewhat of a foundation addict.

I'm a little behind on getting this review out, truth be told I purchased this the day it was released in stores. Kat Von D recently released two new absolute hit palettes, one of them being the Pastel Goth eye palette.

Spring is just around the corner which means all of our favorite brands will be releasing new products and lines. No really, nearly all the products I've been eyeing up are releasing in the same week so I'm going to officially apologize to my bank account right here and now. But if you're anything like me you've been keeping close tabs on all the gossip about what's to be expected for this coming season and marking your calendars to be sure you don't miss out on anything. I've come up with a small list of things that I've concluded are dire I get my hands on.

Often times at work a client will come to me looking for a new foundation for their dry skin. They'll follow up with the usual complaints, saying that their foundation gets cakey, sticks to dry patches, feels like cement, looks crepey, etc. To my horror, I'll ask about their skincare routine and find out that they either don't have one or will at most stick any ol' moisturizer on their face and go right in with the foundation. Boo, honey, my friends, my dears, my loves, get your skincare routine on lock. As someone that personally has dry skin (lemme tell ya... sometimes I feel like I'm one of those characters from animorphs and I'm shifting into a crocodile) I've spent a lot of time coming up with a bomb routine to get my skin in tip top shape. So I'm here to give you some tips, as well as show you some of my favorite products that I've used or currently use in my morning-nightly rotation.

I've noticed that I tend to really stick to my ways when it comes to foundation. I find one that I see as flattering and don't bother thinking that there could be something even better out there for me. I've recently decided to try to broaden my foundation horizons and step out of my Tarte Amazonian Clay box. There's a good list of foundations that I'd like to try out, but I decided to start with Marc Jacobs Genius Gel Super-Charged Oil-Free Foundation.
